The Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) is a program created by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation (CDRF) through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to promote the health and well-being of people living with paralysis, spinal cord injury, and mobility-related disabilities. The PRC provides comprehensive information resources and referral services. Our highly-trained Information Specialists are available to research and answer questions in several languages on various paralysis-related topics. Such questions may range from locating rehabilitation facilities to purchasing adaptive driving equipment to finding a local wheelchair tennis camp. The PRC is also a large lending library with over 3,000 catalogued books and videos. Through its Quality of Life Grants program, the PRC supports other projects and organizations nationwide that help improve the opportunities, access, and daily lives of individuals with paralysis. Additionally, the CDRF works to translate the latest scientific advances into effective, activity-based rehabilitation treatments via its NeuroRecovery Network program; a group of cutting-edge rehabilitation centers designed to provide and develop therapies to promote functional recovery and improve the health of people with paralysis.
